The Sheehan Family Legacy
In 1952, Fabe Sheehan founded Sheehan’s Gas in the small town of Bird Island, Minnesota. Inspired by the legacy started by their father, Brian and Kevin Sheehan knew they could create a better solution for routing and scheduling fuel and propane deliveries. In 1979, in the same rural Minnesota community, Brian and Kevin developed software that would change the future for fuel and propane businesses, like their father’s. They started Rural Computer Consultants, Inc. as a one-room office with just the two brothers as employees. In 1998, Brian and Kevin’s sister, Susie Sheehan-Peterson, brought her vast knowledge of accounting and retail to RCC as she became part owner and manager of the company. Today, the second generation of Sheehan’s work together with the founders. With both longevity and youth, the two generations are planning for a successful future for RCC.
