    Job Purpose:
    Responsible for directly managing daily operations and personnel of branch location. Supervises branch employees including customer service and warehouse personnel in accordance with current company policies and procedures.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Proven supervisory, leadership and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, planning and organizational skills, and computer skills. Ability to delegate responsibilities. Strong product knowledge and technical skills preferred relating to LPG and/or Compressed Gas and Industrial markets. Must be knowledgeable of UPS and FedEx package processing. Must be knowledgeable of basic freight shipment processing and documentation. Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

    Environment:
    Air conditioned office and non air conditioned warehouse environment.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    1. Participates in and manages same-day customer service activities including but not limited to: Order entry, fulfilling customer requests to include but is not limited to delivery, pricing, technical, and supplying product and catalog information. Processing returned goods, handling complaints and resolving problems and reviewing accounts receivable. Provides documentation transmittals to accounting. Review Profit & Loss report and identify/correct report problems.

    2. Responsible for providing ongoing training for self and subordinates including but not limited to: Products and industry applications, national, state, and local industry codes, computer functions, and personal development programs.

    3. Demonstrates leadership skills that advocate accountability and motivation to maximize employee productivity. Interprets Company policies to employees and enforces regulations and maintains attendance records.

    4. Reviews performance, succession planning, personal development and counsels employees to enhance productivity and efficiency. Practices, promotes, and coaches customer service excellence. Recommends and or initiates personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.

    5. Responsible for maintenance and safety of building, forklifts, and major assets at branch location.

    6. Maintains up-to-date vendor information including pricing in order to assist customer service and outside sales on product and pricing issues.

    7. Maintains petty cash and processes reports to accounting as required.

    8. Communicates regularly with regional outside sales reps on current issues.

    9. Actively participates in regional state association activities including but not limited to: conventions, district meetings, and association committees.

    10. Works with Sales Reps on accounts receivable issues including customer maintenance and collecting delinquent accounts.

    11. Works with centralized purchasing closely providing input and information that will assist in maintaining a balanced inventory. 

    12. Participates in and promotes structured outgoing call programs in accordance to GEC policies.

    13. Promotes productive and professional communications between inside and outside sales, accounting, other branches, purchasing, and management.
