    Job Summary:
    As a Safety/Process Control Manager, you will be a key leader responsible for ensuring the safety, compliance, and efficient operation of our retail propane systems. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a secure environment for employees, customers, and the community.     Responsibilities:

    1. Regulatory Compliance:
      • Direct and oversee safety training programs for all employees, promoting behavior-based safety practices.
      • Maintain necessary safety documentation, including OSHA 300 logs, worker’s compensation records, and safety analytics.
      • Ensure accurate and complete environmental compliance reporting.
    2. Incident and Claim Management:
      • Work to develop incident prevention plans.
      • Monitor worker’s compensation claims, assist in medical management, and control costs.
    3. Inspections and Audits:
      • Conduct site-specific safety audits, driver assessments, and ride-alongs.
      • Assign corrective actions to front-line supervisors and track completion.
      • Regularly inspect propane storage tanks for leaks, corrosion, or damage around seams. Determine if repairs or replacements are necessary.
      • Inspect residential and commercial propane systems for leaks and other issues that could pose safety risks.
      • Perform safety inspections of gas lines to ensure they are safe for use.
      • Measure and test the pressure of propane tanks to ensure proper functionality.
    4. Program Management:
      • Oversee safety compliance programs across affiliated companies.
      • Ensure effective safety programs related to hazardous fuel handling, DOT driving, fire suppression, and other OSHA requirements.
      • Manage the Safety Committee’s activities.
      • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
      • Create and administer safety incentive programs.
    Qualifications:
    • Experience: Five or more years in Safety Management, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
    • Skills:
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn company-specific processes.
      • Adherence to the company’s values and ethical expectations.
