CENTRAL COUNTIES COOPERATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Fuel and Propane Service/Delivery Technician
There is a current opening at Central Counties Cooperative for the position of: Fuel and Propane Service/Delivery
Technician
The primary purpose of this position is to serve CCC’s patrons by safely servicing, loading, transporting, and
delivering energy products. This position will also assist in the installation, maintenance, and repairs of tanks,
propane equipment, and fuel oil equipment while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations.
The skills and job duties are as follows:
Install, service, and maintain propane equipment, fuel oil equipment, and tanks
Timely delivery of propane and diesel fuel to CCC patrons in a safe, efficient manner
Maintain a CDL License with hazmat and tanker endorsements
Provide superior customer service to CCC patrons
Maintain the service vehicle
Other general tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements include:
High school education
Must have or be willing to obtain a CDL with tanker and hazardous endorsements
Previous work experience is desired, but we are willing to train the right candidate
Reliable attendance
The ability to exhibit exceptional customer service
Must have a strong work ethic
Ability to work well in a team setting with other employees
Must attend required safety and educational training
A cooperative or ag background is a plus
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to climb ladders
Ability to work extended hours during busy season
Compensation:
Compensation will be based on previous work experience, education, and training.
This is a full time position that requires working 40 plus hours a week with overtime pay after 40 hours.
